Privacy Policy
Last updated: June 10, 2026
1. Introduction
PSGL Technology Solutions Private Limited (“we”, “our”, or “us”), the company behind SwamiSeva, is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our platform at swamiseva.in (the “Platform”). By using SwamiSeva, you consent to the practices described in this policy. If you do not agree, please discontinue use of the Platform.
2. Information We Collect
We may collect the following types of information:
- Personal & Spiritual Details: Full name, mobile number, and email address; gotra, nakshatra (birth star), rashi (zodiac sign), date of birth, time of birth, place of birth, gender, the life concerns you select (such as marriage, career, health, or education), and other details you provide to enable accurate seva performance and personalised spiritual guidance according to Vedic tradition; names and spiritual details of family members you add to a booking; and a profile photo if you choose to upload one.
- AI Spiritual Guide conversations: The messages you send to, and replies you receive from, our AI Spiritual Guide, along with the Rashi (zodiac sign) you provide for personalised guidance. These are stored to maintain your conversation history and improve the guidance we provide. You may use the Guide without an account; in that case your conversation and Rashi are stored against a random identifier kept in a cookie on your device, and are linked to your account (and thereafter governed by your account settings) if and when you sign in.
- Device, Location & Usage: Approximate location (if you grant permission) to match you with nearby priests or region-specific sevas; push notification tokens and device identifiers for booking reminders and live-stream alerts; browser type, device type, screen resolution, IP address, approximate geographic location, pages visited, session duration, referral source, and on-page interactions (such as clicks and scrolling, via heatmaps and session recordings) collected automatically when you use the Platform.
- Payment & Transactions: Payments are processed securely by Razorpay; we do not store your full card or bank account details on our servers. We retain records of bookings made, amounts paid, and seva dates for legal and accounting compliance.
- Communications: Messages and queries submitted to our support team via email, chat, or any other channel.
3. How We Use Your Information
We use your information to:
- Process, confirm, and manage your seva bookings.
- Enable accurate ritual performance: your name, gotra, nakshatra, rashi, and date of birth are shared with the priest to perform the seva correctly according to Vedic tradition.
- Send booking confirmations, seva schedules, live-stream links, and reminders via SMS, email, WhatsApp, or push notifications.
- Personalise your experience: surface sevas, homams, and pujas relevant to your spiritual calendar, birth details, or past bookings.
- Provide our AI Spiritual Guide: generate personalised spiritual and horoscope (rashi-based) guidance, answer your questions about the Platform, and recommend relevant sevas based on your birth details and stated life concerns. We also use the random cookie identifier described above to maintain your conversation and apply fair-use limits when you use the Guide without signing in.
- Match you with priests based on your preferred language, location, or the specific tradition of the seva requested.
- Facilitate secure payment processing through Razorpay.
- Improve the Platform, diagnose technical issues, and conduct internal analytics to understand how the Platform is used.
- Comply with applicable legal obligations under Indian law, including the Information Technology Act, 2000, and its rules.
- Communicate service updates, new features, or promotional offers (you may opt out of marketing communications at any time, see Section 10).
4. Sharing Your Information

- Priests / Seva providers: Your name, gotra, nakshatra, rashi, and date of birth (where provided) are shared with the priest performing your seva solely to enable the ritual.
- Google (Gemini AI): When you use our AI Spiritual Guide, the content of your messages and relevant profile details (such as your rashi and life concerns) are sent to Google’s Gemini AI service to generate a response. Google processes this content as our AI provider, governed by Google’s Privacy Policy.
- Microsoft (Clarity): We use Microsoft Clarity to understand how visitors use the Platform, including pages visited, approximate location, device type, screen resolution, and on-page interactions, via aggregate analytics, heatmaps, and session recordings. Microsoft processes this data as our analytics provider, governed by Microsoft’s Privacy Statement.

- Business transfers: In the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, your data may be transferred to the successor entity, subject to the same privacy protections.
